The living room is spacious and includes not only a living space but also a dining one and a playroom for the kids. Scandinavian kind supposes lots of light and light shades, so the walls were colored white, and the genuine oak floor was restored. It was sanded, painted and refinished, so the wood grain was still visible. The original huge window was also restored to flood the area with light. The fireplace divided the space into two parts: a living room and a dining room.
Such a bright or light-filled area frequently looks a bit cool, so the designers opted for pastel furniture and décor. The furniture is current, simple, partly from IKEA, which is a symbol of timeless Nordic décor. Pastel pillows, banners, chairs, wall and fireplace interior design spruced up a cold space and turned it into an inviting one.
Scandinavian genre is very trendy for décoration today but somedays it looks a bit cold or uncomfortable. This living space is none of that type, it looks cool, warm also even a bit bright. Let’s have a closer view at it to catch some details and get inspired.
